OVERVIEW

The Nokian Entyre 2.0 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Nokian offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty for 580AA UTQG rated sizes, and an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty for the 720AA UTQG rated sizes of this model.

The tire provides great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern, with the optimal siping detail, and the all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread’s siping pattern maintains a firm grip on the road surface even on ice and snow-covered road surfaces, while the compound keeps its flexible traction throughout the year, including in colder temperature winter weather. The tire’s circumferential and angled lateral grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. In this manner, the model is capable of resisting hydroplaning, which ensures a secure year round performance.

The model guarantees a safer controllability in all conditions. The tread’s continuous notched center rib keeps the tire’s road contact at all times, which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The stable structure and quick and precise steering responsiveness promote a secure driving experience, allowing the driver to confidently control the vehicle. The better maneuvering and controllability upgrade the tire’s performing capability.

The model was manufactured with the Silent Sidewall and Silent Groove technology, which provide a quiet and comfortable drive. The Silent Groove design channels the airwaves through the tire’s footprint, without allowing them to come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise are not generated while the tires are in motion, and they do not disturb the passengers’ driving comfort. The Entyre 2.0 offers a lengthened tread life. The silica-based compound eases the pressure off the tire and slows its tread wear rate down significantly. The asymmetric tread design’s close road contact ensures even pressure distribution. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area. The slower even tread wear extends the tread life and, with it, the tire’s usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
