In 1768 Paul Revere an American patriot and renowned Boston silversmith designed a bowl as a gift to their supporters that was commissioned by the Sons of Liberty. The original engraved with the names of the Sons of Liberty now rests in a place of honor in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. As with all fine gifts please hand wash these bowls.
